As a Didsbury Maternity Photographer, golden hour is hands-down my favourite time to shoot — and Olivia and Ryan’s maternity session at Fletcher Moss Park was pure magic from start to finish.

We met up around an hour before sunset, and the light couldn’t have been more dreamy. Fletcher Moss is one of those gems in Didsbury that provides for such a variety of backdrop including spots to capture the sunset… it all made the perfect scene to capture this exciting chapter for Olivia and Ryan.

Olivia looked absolutely beautiful (she was glowing!) and made use of my client closet during the shoot. She chose three beautiful dresses, including a gorgeous gown that could be unbuttoned to show bump. Each outfit brought a different vibe to the shoot and each location.

We took our time wandering through the park, stopping at spots where the light looked extra magical. We found the perfect blossom tree where the light was peeping through softly, and ended at a meadow for full sunset vibes.

Olivia and Ryan were so easy-going and full of excitement for their little one — it really shines through in the photos. You can just feel the love between them - and bump too!

Honestly, sessions like these are why I love being a Didsbury Maternity Photographer. It's not just about taking pretty pictures (although we definitely got plenty of those!) — it's about capturing memories that you’ll treasure forever.
